Matter - Density "Some Like it Salty"

Our class conducted a fun lab where we explored relative density between an egg and two different types of water.  Here is a picture of our experiment. Our class of scientists explored and concluded that salt water is more dense than fresh water.  Our egg sank in fresh water and floated in salt water.  We went further and discussed the density in the Dead Sea.  We also compared lake water to ocean water and how a swimming experience might be different in each. It was fun!
