This week we conducted an experiment where we tested if mass would affect the distance our toy car traveled when released from a ramp.  First, we conducted three trials with our toy car and recorded the distance.  Second, we taped five pennies on the top of our car, increasing it's mass, and then releasing it from the top of the ramp.

We concluded that the less mass the toy car has, the farther it will travel. The car with no pennies traveled the longest distance.  The car with pennies traveled the shortest distance.
